Lesson 7
Reading It: Reading a Result Honestly
Help me interpret this result without fooling myself. MY HYPOTHESIS: [four-part]. MY
DECISION TABLE: [what you pre-declared]. THE RESULT: control [value], variant [value],
range [if available], significance [what the tool says], sample reached [actual vs
planned], guardrails [each], duration [weeks]. State plainly what this does and doesn't
tell me, if flat, which of the three kinds. Is the effect meaningful in business terms,
separately from significance? Does my decision table give a clear answer, and if I'm
tempted to depart from it, name that temptation. What are the honest limitations? And
what's the most likely thing I got wrong in my original reasoning?
