Lesson 2
Before You Build: Deciding Whether to Test
Help me decide whether this is worth A/B testing. THE CHANGE: [description]. WHY I THINK
IT'LL HELP: [reasoning and where it came from]. TRAFFIC AND BASELINE: [users per week,
current rate]. Answer: what would I do if it won, and if it lost, if they're the same, say
so plainly. Given my traffic, what effect size could I realistically detect in 3-4 weeks,
with your working? Is my hoped-for effect bigger or smaller than that? Should I test it,
ship and watch, or research first, pick one and justify it. If research, what specifically
should I go and find out?
