Exercise - Write Your Tool Inventory

Take your trace from Chapter 1 and list every distinct capability the agent needed.

Write a name and a four-sentence description for each. Include what it doesn't cover, that sentence prevents more misuse than the others combined.

Run the tool inventory prompt. Take question 3 seriously; confusable tools are a common and invisible source of wrong behaviour.

Mark every tool READ or WRITE. For each write, write one line on the worst thing a wrong call could do. You'll use this in Chapter 4.

Cut the list to the smallest set that does something useful. Write down what you cut and why, that's your second release.
