Foundations to Advanced Systems: LLMs for Product Managers
Why This Module Matters
Why This Module Matters
Every module so far has been about what LLMs can do. This one is about what they can do wrong.
And before you skim past this thinking it is someone else's department, consider this:
"A mayor of an Australian town considered suing OpenAI after ChatGPT hallucinated a false claim that he had been imprisoned for bribery. A pair of New York lawyers were sanctioned after relying on an LLM that confidently generated fake legal citations, misleading the court. In both cases, the people most affected were not the engineers who built the systems. They were the product owners, the legal teams, and the organizations whose reputations took the damage."
Risk in LLM products is not a technical footnote. It is a product responsibility. And product managers who understand it deeply are the ones who ship AI features that their organizations can stand behind, not just features that work in a demo.
