Hallucination: LLMs produce confident, incorrect analysis. Treat all agent outputs as draft intelligence on critical decisions. Build human review checkpoints for high-stakes outputs.
Prompt fragility: Prompts degrade silently when input formats change. Version controls your prompts. Build output schema validation. Run weekly quality checks in the first 60 days.
Automation bias: Teams that run agents long enough start trusting outputs uncritically. Standing policy: agents synthesize, humans interpret. Audit past outputs quarterly against what actually happened.
Governance: Customer data fed into external LLM APIs requires legal and compliance review. Get sign-off before routing any PII. Review the terms of service for every data source you automate access to.
Market intelligence is not a research function. It's a product capability.
